Warning! Gautrain Traffic Fines

Hmm I wonder how many people are getting these, must be 1000s because almost no one slows down in these construction zones...
If everyone slowed down to these speeds, some are 60km/h the N1, would get so congested it would be madness.

i agree ... i could be funny and tell them i saw the sign inside the barriers and thought the speed limit of 80km/h was meant for the construction vehicles :)

EDIT: i think at this rate maybe the jails will be filled with more civilians than the real criminals

Where speedlimits are changed from what they were there should be warning first then fine aproach. For at least a certain period anyway.

What about all the construction caused traffic delays? Who's going to refund us for all our wasted time and petrol?

The construction (not only gautrain but all the 2010 roadworks as well)is a major inconvenience and the authorities should be a little accommodating towards the public in this regard.:D
