I had to google "Nasturtium". That's when I saw the dog thing.

Nice that you got wild life, good sign that things are healthy. Is this Kloof area?
I'm down in the coastal dune belt forest in the EC. The wildlife is awesome and it's part of the reason I don't want to fence the side of the garden towards the beach. I did build a fence around the vegetable patch and I'm thinking about expanding it a little. The rest of the garden has veggies planted near the trees to follow the food forest layout but I don't expect to get much from those until they establish properly and outpace the rate at which they are consumed by the animals.

I want to try a few more local plants and trees as I've been focusing on a lot of tropical plants which the animals cannot get enough of. It's like candy to them.

Mostly vegan anyway, but then again this stuff is almost as expensive as the meat. Darn Salmon at Wooliez jumped to over 300 bucks a few months ago as well. Yikes.
For how much? Salmon is the most nutritious "meat" available, so it could be worth it unless that's for a tiny sliver the way Woolworths normally does things.

How will the ANC be buying votes now? Just a t-shirt?

Funny how @TheChamp @surface and @azbob never appear in these threads to make fun of people complaining about the ANC by pretending they're over reacting.

Where's the broderbond jokes.

Tell us why this is good, actually.

A crap ton of monkeys, but manage to keep them out of some parts of the garden using red cloth tied to trees, hanging CDs and nasturtiums (they seem to hate the smell of them).
Well cooked monkey meat is also not too bad.

PM me where you stay. I will go and check your bylaws
Because we all know how we love to obey rules here... especially ones like not having chickens or shacks or slaughtering animals in the back yard...and if you complain nothing gets done and naturally you are a Wacist...

That's how pandemics start  I'm not brave enough to try monkey meat as I always thought they carry tons of diseases that could easily infect us.

I'm not sure about the other two but @surface and I are busy looking for our tiny violins as we speak
:D:D I express my heartfelt sympathies to people affected by this crisis. My today's menu is kikiyu paneer which almost tastes similar to palak paneer.
