The point he's alluding to is that problems are caused by stupid people, not necessarily poor process or a bad company.
No, but your thread title should really read "Warning: This is what could happen to you if you do business with Cell C/Vodacom/MTN/Telkom/MWeb/Webafrica/Game/Makro/HiFi Corp/etc/etc/etc/etc"Does that make it acceptable then? Not in my opinion. I'm perfectly happy with my VC contract, and all of my other SP accounts. If I had the same issues with them I would have made the exact same stink I am making now.

This thread shouldn't have any significant influence on anybody's choice of cellphone SP.
I haven't had any hassles whatsoever with my CellC contract that I had running for years, and it took me all of 1 email to cancel it. It took me all of one 5 min phone call to change my contact details. I found their callcentre infinitely better than MTN's in terms of efficiency and call quality.
I know you're not, but people reading this need to know about the other side of the coin also.Lucky you, I'm not forcing my opinion on everybody else. I am only stating my opinion and describing the catastrophe that I've personally had in dealing with Cell C. People can take from this whatever they like to take from it.
Some, if not all, of the stores are franchised, so technically Cell-C do not employ the people you see in the stores.
They should be made aware of what their franchisees are doing though.
So you get some bad service ? Big deal the amount you save on calls and data is over 2 fold compared to vodacom and Mtn.So you can basically make more than twice the calls, sms's and data usage(this is even more than twice) compared to those sharks at MTN and Vodacom.
Went and bought a sim to test at our factory.
One of the sales reps stole R100 I put down to pay for it (I got distracted by a phone on the display shelf).
Why you put down 100 Mandelas? It costs just one Mandela, I usually give more for the parking guards, so keep bunch of coins. :-(Went and bought a sim to test at our factory.
