I expect more of this and worse incoming.

Lawlessness will be on the rise with little no consequences.

Happy days

It's good one of them had a firearm. If I were there, that's all the legal reason I need to plug the F*$#er and his mates. "Feared for my life and those of my staff"
Wish the dealership were a little bit more armed and less p*ssified.
You are so brave - I heard you were part of the team that killed bin laden. Salut.

Insurance never pays what things are worth, and your premiums go up substantially.

No security onsite? or ADT panic button? That seems like something you'd need for a car dealership..
Really? , these thugs brazenly walked in and trashed the place without fear , can you imagine what retaliation would follow had one of them been caught , arrested or beaten by security? , they would return and cause a lot more harm or even kill someone. Best course of action is to just let them carry on and not do a thing because they will make sure they have the last laugh.

IMO seems like some sort of gang initiation.

That is the bit that puzzles me, they could have done a proper job.
So you watched a viral video of a bunch of mouth breather savages fcking up someone else's property for whatever reason and you are puzzled why they didn't do a better job? Maybe you like these oxygen thieves are part of what makes this country a shthole?

You need to dial that enthusiasm down a tad, I abhor this type of behavior, but it does not make sense to me.

My brother works in the same building as this dealership and saw/heard it happening. Story is going around that the dealership was paying a fee to have their shop "protected".... they skipped a payment and the mafia showed up to show them what will happen if it happens again..
This sounds feasable.

A friend sent me screenshots of a supercar whatsapp group where the guys complained that they left their cars there to be sold and the owners took it to drag strips. They saw their own cars on Twitter being raced.

Other guys said that the owner is dodgy with deals when he bought their cars.

I am unable to post the screen shots as this thread does not allow it.
So, possibly involved with dodgy people?

But where else has this happened? I live close to a BMW dealership. They have one security guard opening and closing boom gates for cars. Pedestrians walk in and out any way they please.

Where are the 40 people? Someone needs to learn how to count.

But honestly what was the point of all this?
Looks like a bit of organised chaos to "encourage" the owners in some way.

"Oh, looks like you need some extra security here... not to worry we can make sure this wont happen again"

Reeks of some kind of extortion racket.

Some Gangs will approach shops and companies and demand protection money and then when the owner says no then they come back later and ransack the place . It happened to someone I know . ( they wanted R80k a month )

They look like amateur rent-a-crowd thugs that were hired by somebody that doesn't like the dealership.

the truth to this story is that the owner of the toy shop owned R1.8m to someone - he didn't pay - they came to collect!
