They should rather vent their anger at their former BEE bosses that through corruption and looting as well as poor management decisions, caused them to be in the position they are in.
The sabc is state owned so not sure how it can be BEE bossed. Whatever that means.

In any case, the bosses at the SABC have been of all hues. Assuming your BEE is supposed to mean black as it seems all black appointments are AA these days in the eyes of the small-minded

Impressive how secure a SOE job is. Long, drawn out section 189 consultation process with no result other than to proceed to retrenchments... Make a ruckus and everything is back tracked.

The SABC said it conducted 16 consultative sessions over four months with multiple stakeholders, which significantly exceeds the statutory minimum requirement.

This is the reason why you don't negotiate with terrorists..

Once you start appeasing they'll just turn around and demand more.

I know and admit that unions is parasitic and useless. But I still have to laugh when these large companies, when serving retrenchment letters, shift the blame to the unions that didn't came with "even one" solution. Or the union couldn't agree "to a company alternative" solution. Even the leaders has gone soft and apologetic when they cover their own salaries.

FFS. No bailouts. Let it struggle if it's going to make idiotic decisions like this.

How do they vent their anger at those? Are these former BEE bosses coming to their offices?

Following these outcries, SABC management conceded that the retrenchment process was not preceded by proper consultation processes.

Just heart on 702 news that the management has backtracked again and going ahead with it.

SABC News senior reporter Chriselda Lewis said they carried the broadcaster for years and put their lives in danger by reporting on the ground about the COVID-19 pandemic.

And yet in the article photo there are plenty of people without masks, no social distancing etc. Then people start shouting and the whole office is down with Covid. So much for regulations.
