How does BMW justify this ?
Money, and if he want's to go race it, where he chooses to.
How does BMW justify this ?
Yes but red with 2 black lines down the bonnet over roof and over bum is fastest, nothing trumps thatyou forgot to mention the colour, red is always faster...
Maybe you have to sign a waiver saying you only want it to be able to set lap times around the Nürburgring or something...
There are certain customers who want the capability of driving at those high speeds.
And BMW think it's acceptable to disable the speed limiter ?
No idea if this has been posted yet.

It is acceptable. Remember it's their product and they can make that decision.

Dude I will freak going those speeds
Then they should accept culpability for any deaths arising from 'their decision'.
Not sure you're more likely to die when going in excess of 200 really so upping the limit shouldn't make a differentce to how much of a stew you become on impact. I think Audi also remove limit for a small splodge of Wonga. Then they should accept culpability for any deaths arising from 'their decision'.
You dont feel it ..I have been 280 with a m5 as a passenger. 250 a few times as well
The cars reach 250 so easily its unbelievable
the 1st v10 models around 2006 and the 1st models didnt have limiters. Some software issue

No. This is the same as saying that if you buy a gun, shoot and kill someone with it, the manufacturer should accept some culpability for the death. Then they should accept culpability for any deaths arising from 'their decision'.

so why specifically target BMW for enabling a car to do high speeds which it is designed for?
Think you misunderstand. My mind will have a fit if I go those speeds. I used to also do 120KM/h on a dirt road in Polokwane. Then just one day your mind asks what if and you lose your composure. At least that was me.
More illegal than the already illegal 250km/hr they sell the car off the floor at?Because those speeds are illegal ?
