Yeah I would think that is monumental horseshit...

Its possible. In this case it was the passenger that came off second best but the driver not only walked away, he actually physically removed his passenger from the wreck.

A guy crashed his Peugeot 206 GTi outside my house a few years back. Crash so violent his engine was lying in the middle of the road burning while the car was about 50 m further up the road. He hit the pavement, ripping his left-front wheel off, car pitched sideways as the exposed axle dug in and then he whacked a tree, ripping the engine out before coming to rest against another tree further up the road. By the time we got there he was sitting on the pavement, fully conscious and asking if anybody had a smoke.

I'm talking about Tofu-knobhead giving a damn if he killed anyone, other than the culpable homicide/murder charges... he didn't give a shyte about anyone else...

I don't think this is entirely fair. You don't think that you'll have an accident until you do.

A friend of mine was in a hurry and overtook a taxi that stopped almost in an intersection, didn't see a bike coming, there was an accident and a man died. Friend was guilt-ridden even though no charges were pressed, this was 7 years ago and he still hasn't recovered properly. Sure, different situation, but even these guys, clowns though they are, don't go out and race thinking "I don't care if I kill someone," they're thinking "I'm too good to be in an accident so I won't kill anyone".

I would believe that that was his first question. Incidents like this can change a person.

*Note: Not trying to take any blame away, what he did was just as stupid and selfish as you say it was. But a man can change.

If that's their thinking, it just confirms that the illegal street racers are a bunch of inconsiderate knobhead hoodlums.

It is entirely fair... if you race like that on public roads, you are a selfish twat who doesn't give two tosses about anyone but your own small little tollie.

https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/...-passenger-in-car-a-real-possibility-20190129

Mayoral committee member for safety and security JP Smith, said there was no indication, prior to the circulation of the videos, that was a passenger inside the car at the time of the crash.

A member of the public sent him the clip, which had been taken from inside the vehicle, on Tuesday, Smith said. The file was labelled as dash cam footage.

"The camera angle, to me though, looks like it is being held by a person," Smith told News24.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the supposed passenger may have sustained minor injuries.

This, Smith said, was a real possibility.

"We have seen many horrific accidents where one person suffers severe repercussions – like losing their life or legs – while others in the car escape unscathed."

Gotta love the "Oi" at 44 seconds..:ROFL:

One thing I am curious about is why he suddenly points the camera down to legs just before the event that cause the accident.. it’s weird. Like he knew something risky was about to happen?

2ndly when they passing cars after they get up to speed.. it’s like those cRs are standing still..

Another thing.. last I see a clear view of the speedometer, he is going just short of 240km/h.. and then a few seconds later it passes over the dash again but need to evaluate frames to see if speedo shown.. point is they must’ve been going >240km/h

Driver seems to be conscious right after - at 0.57, someone's bending over him asking "Who was with you?" and then immediately this person says "Imraan/ Emraan?", and stands up and calls for Imraan. Looks like an older person - his father?

That wannabe Paul Walker clown was clearly conscious and mentally competent to answer the question of the passengers identity.

So what was the whole story behind him being brain dead or possibly brain dead?

A ploy to buy him time and sympathy? Time for palms to be greased?

Dodgy as all hell the passenger didnt come forward willingly. Surely the police questioned witnesses etc.

I smell a rat

The car lost control when he came from the left lane to the right and into the barrier, that's why he put the phone down. He saw the k@k comming, and said "oi" just before impact. It's not weird at all.
