I have an example in our area. There is a snot nosed little upstart with rich parents who bought him an up market high powered car about a year ago. It took him three months to write it off going over a traffic circle in our area, trying to show off. Many of us spoke to his parents and asked them to do something but they just ignored us.
All he needed was a circle, a tree and trying show off with a tyre spinning take off. The car was a wreck.

He is now back on his bike. For a while he was careful. But he is back doing wheelies, high speed take offs etc.

Yep, pretty much this. Usually happens when people show off. Seen a couple of clips of people winding it up at supercar meets only to plough into parked cars, with multiple write-offs.

But it takes knowledge of physics to drive high-end cars!
That lewis hamilton bloke appears to drive the fastest car, really fast. I've heard interviews with him, he's hardly a deGrasse Tyson type intellectual. Hell, he's barely a high school dropout intellectual.

Also didn't just wake up one morning and drive an F1 car, he had to be taught how to do it.

Knowing that section of the N1 quite well, it was probably caused by someone not checking their mirrors and moving into the right-hand lane at 80 km/h. I still don't know why traffic slows to a crawl between Jip de Jager and Giel Basson, even on a nice sunny day at, say, 11:00 or 14:00. It's downhill, FFS!

Not at you directly, but that always confuses me. There's a hill on the N12 on the east rand, it's a 120km/h highway, a lot of cars slow to 100 km/h on the up slope, and whistle along well over 120 km/h on the downslope. Do people lose their minds? Do they not know how to gear down to maintain 120 on the uphill and take their foot off the gas to do the same on the downhill? Are people just retarded?
