We don't know if the altercation was about the cap. As with all videos of this type, the instigation though relevant are of little importance when driving a narrative.

The roid bunny could lie or the pastor could lie about any preceding events off camera. But the fact that this guy had anti EFF hate posts on his social media means it's more likely he's just an angry idiot.

People, I don't know what you think about all this. Surely something is very wrong with South Africa. One black man gets punched in the face by a white idiot and some racist forumite quickly opens a thread. A thread only ment to instigate racism and promote his wicked agenda. All that stretching over many days and hundreds of replies. In the meantime whites get brutally attacked by blacks. Not in public spaces but in their own house. In the middle of night. So much so that many whites are leaving South Africa yet this one punch generates more traffic than all the other incidents. What must I a outsider, understand about South Africa? Clearly, I am missing a or more points.

Not worth replying to this one. Most here couldn't give a damn about either the savage or the victims skin colour, yet he still comes storming in with the race card.

I absolutely condemn the attack. But I find all this racially divisive and over the top. I think that if this incident was intra vs. inter racial, there would have been no where near such a huuuge discussion.

Also, Institutions which should deal with hate speach should do its work and stop walking on eggs just because the perpetrator is black.

As another "foreigner" here, let me tell you - for SA expats that are old guards, there is only one type - angry. Angry at all the privilege being taken away.
