There exists no previous agitation for farm attacks that can possibly justify them unless you are completely morally corrupt. Wheteher it's simple murder or sadistic there is no comparison between that and a random slug.

What can possibly justify this attack?

So you can justify one kind of assault but not another. Interesting. Interesting. What is your cut off? Maybe the farm attacker can justify his 'random slug' (hey it happens it was just a faaaight boet) using some sick logic - a bit like you. You are on their level. Congrats.

"I wasn't paid my full wage this month. Therefore I attack the farmer."

"I r Faaaighting the revolution boet therefore I attack the priest".

Do you wring your hands about the farm attacker's reasons? No. It cannot justify the crime. Why do you worry about the petrol station attacker's reasons? It cannot justify the crime. Could it be because he is white? Lol.

Big talk boets always cry the hardest at sentencing.

You are the morally corrupt one, trying to find cause to excuse Bothmas behavior.

Maybe he is Bothma, maybe he randomly goes around assaulting people and wants to feel justified, maybe he is just a PoS. My guess is at least 2 of the 3.

Quote where I actually did that

Looking at the pics it might have been a combination of testosterone (steroids?) poisoning and deep seated resentments...... also we don't hear the other side of the story, maybe the pastor stupidly said something that triggered the over-confident oaf.

I'm not saying it's good he did it, it was stupid to say the least, there are probably other non-mentioned factors involved though.

As I said, looking for cause to excuse.

May be so, but just don't wear a Swastika in a Bloemfontein Wimpy.

No one assaulted that old man. Unless i missed something. You are grasping at straws here.
Did I actually say it was grounds for assault? Where? I actually many times said that even if there was previous agitation that does not make the punch a good idea.

No, a random punch by someone stupid enough to think he will get away with it is NOT the same as a farm attack. Farm attacks are pre-mediated, planned and then carried out over extended periods of time, if they are succesful there is torture, rape and murder involed. While this guy could be common trash a farm attacker is filth and deserves no mercy. You thinking that this is the same as a random punch says a lot about you.

As others have said, it could also just be a random slug having his own excuse for the farm attack. I won't excuse either one, both are criminal acts perpetrated by cowards.

This "random slug" is a criminal, just like the farm attacker. The only reason you are defending him is because he look like you, if he didn't you wouldn't gone off on this tangent looking to excuse a common scum cowardly criminal.

OK let me emphasise the important part..... PROBABLY..... did you get that? Should I have added more maybes, perhapses or possiblies? Should I have expositioned an entire paragraph to explain what any idiot can see in a sentence?

Have I actually explixitely excused the behaviour? Have I said it was good that he did it and more people should? Are you obtuse or do you just want me to have done it so bad you will grasp any straw?

You could have just said "I wonder why he did what he did?"

No, I do not have your moral relativism.

A random slug can have it's mitigating reasons whether they excuse what happened or not.

A farm attack at this point has NO mitigating reasons, these are not common scum, they are lower than animals.

You do seem to have a bad understanding of the words used though, a slug is a punch, a thug is a criminal, scum is trash.

If some black dude 'randomly slugged' you into hospital, would you agonise over his reasons? Would 'I am fighting the WMC revolution' satisfy you? 'it is just a faaight muhlungu'.

Or would you be a lil bitch about it and complain about SA crime? Would you call for harsh punishment and call your attacker a 'subhuman'?

I think we both know the answer.

I'm sure those doing the attacking can think of many reasons to justify their actions, all of it BS. The same goes for this "slug". Or common cowardly criminal, maybe a more fitting description.

Thinking you have mitigating reasons and actually having mitigation reasons are two completely different things. And again, mitigation is not the same things as excusion.

Sure, so one assault is okay but another is not. As long as the one guy is the same colour as you.

So slugging a farmer has no mitigating reasons, but slugging a priest does. Hmmm interesting. Very very interesting. I guess the mitigating factor is the colour of the skin lol.

Yes, this was just a 'slug' from a gentleman who is totally not white trash. Lol. I can't wait to see this guy cry on the stand. Maybe he will miraculously become a 'born again'.

The mental gymnastics a coward uses to justify his weak morals.

No I am not, and the correct use of the idiom is "clutching at straws". You are welcome.

You missed a lot. In the view of many, the old guy was trawling for someone to do him in. Some even threatened (keyboard warrior style) to do it themselves. These comments were made by both white and black on social media.
