In another part of the world a lot of people and certain sections of the media would be creaming over this if the dude was wearing a red MAGA hat and was decked.

In SA, we know how this one is going to play out.

EFF breeds hate, on both sides. I don't agree with randomly assaulting people, but I understand the feelings the sight of the EFF stirs in certain folks as they are one of SA's premier hate-mongers.

Agreed with you, if it were true. I have some doubts though.
The video merely shows a dude appearing to hit a driver of a Mercedes multiple times. "Ron Rambebu" claims that it was him. Or if you prefer, "Ron Lutendo", who appears to be a pastor whose services resemble a discotheque.
The video footage looks like a handcam recording off screen, conveniently cutting out the registration of the Mercedes, there is no way to validate it. The photos of the "injuries" (Rambebu / Lutendo mugshot) are inconsistent with the footage, which suggests that mutiple blows were delivered. Then there is the question of the dude running into the scene with a weapon, also alleged that this was Rambebu or Lutendo (whichever he prefers) kind of inconsistent with a so-called christian pastor. What happened to turning the other cheek?
Then one has to ask the question: If it didn't happen, why would Rambebu / Lutendo claim it to be true? There are many reasons, fame, fortune, victimhood, political, all which suit a charismatic pastor done to the tea and fill the disco pews on a Sunday.
I am not convinced that this is the full story, the same way that I am unconvinced regarding the footage of a pastor raising a dead man.
