I'll kahrk myself!!!

Cape Town - The Portuguese archipelago of Madeira is home to one of the toughest airport approaches in the world. With a super short runway, pilots are only allowed to land there once they've received special training.

However, this past weekend saw the airport approach become even harder as strong cross-winds pushed planes off course, forcing them to land at scary angles.

yeah, I probably would never fly again if I was on one of those planes.

Happened to me in good ol windy Port Elizabeth. The plane was practically 45 degrees to run way. First attempt we were a few meters off the ground and he wasn't confident so hit the gas and did a loop around and tried second time. Sideways again but landed smooth as butter. Was really impressed.

Impressive skills, especially first one, skew, hoverish and turn.
