The above is definitely not true when it comes to domestic assault.
Only because it's a political football. How many years of 16 days of activism against GBV but no results so far?

I did not insinuate that this is only happening in South Africa.
Pointed out that "minding your own business is enough not to get into trouble in this country" is factually incorrect.
I guess I misinterpreted the bolded bit. This is Africa where people pick fights with you just because of the color of your skin.
Even sitting in traffic minding your own business can get you into trouble.
Some people rely on word of mouth marketing, especially localised businesses
Explore the supplier sector to mining and mineral processing industry and see how many have websites. Report back on this forum. I can give names of businesses that span provinces but I don't want to associate their good names with this thread.Yeah right. He manages to have all those very diverse business interests by word of mouth? And not a single tender? With no web site? And a construction company's phone number on his security vehicles?

Irrelevant conclusion is where someone argues for, and often proves, an irrelevant point - a point that is not the point of the original assertion. He dresses up his irrelevant conclusion to look as if it was relevant.
Irrelevant Conclusion is the informal fallacy of presenting an argument that may or may not be logically valid, but fails nonetheless to address the issue in question. More colloquially, it is also known as missing the point.
Good to know. This guy has no website. Anyone without a website and a tender is a tenderpreneur. Your mates in that sector too.
Many "mature" age plumbers/electricians have no web sites. They work quite fine with WOM referrals. It can be intentional to be under radar (for whatever reasons) or it could be technological issue in adaptation to new tech. Some people rely on word of mouth marketing, especially localised businesses
I have many american friends. I confirm it doesn't happen in America. This is Africa where people pick fights with you just because of the color of your skin.
What are you talking about? The activism works. There is a increase in GBV every year since the campaign started.Only because it's a political football. How many years of 16 days of activism against GBV but no results so far?
Be careful, next thing he is going to accuse you of being a Zulu.Good to know.
My mates? Lol. My mates have websites.
I don't know, its also not relevant to your posts which are factually incorrect.
If I am not mistaken, you like to post "Appeal to reason" to other myBB members. The above is an example of a fallacy of irrelevant conclusion (Ignoratio Elenchi).

Whatever the reason, these businesses exist. Many "mature" age plumbers/electricians have no web sites. They work quite fine with WOM referrals. It can be intentional to be under radar (for whatever reasons) or it could be technological issue in adaptation to new tech.

The biggest issue I have is that we all complain and bitch and moan about corruption, crooked politicians, corrupt cops etc, etc on social media ,different forums or whatever other means.
Would this not help the situation we are in If we ALL stood together as a UNITED South Africa and launched the million man marches or however you want to protest (NO VIOLENCE) around the country and state we've had enough of the shyte.
We are such a divided nation right now.
It pains me and I'm sure hundreds of thousands if not millions of people in our land.
Thanks, got that off my chest.
I'll probably get lambasted left, right and centre for what I just said.
NB If I knew how to start the above I would have done it a long time ago.
