I am honest, no IT Guru and TOTALLY lost!! Please HELP?
I have a wireless Lorex LW2231 camera which was hooked up with my TV through the RCA connector. No problem.
Now I wish to rather watch it on my laptop.
I was previously advised to get a Esaycap 4CH USB 2.0 DVR (EASYCAP002) to resolve my problem.
I did, ran the CD and nothing. When I want to open the Multiviewer, it tells me "Not found video capture device". Looked on Device Manager and yip, a nice yellow triangle. Being a Sunday yesterday, I searched all over for a driver and eventually found the STK 1160 Grabber. I had to go through so many processes but eventually got it resolved and the triangle disappeared.
When I look at my "Sound" section in Hardware and Devices, I can see the STK Grabber speaker which does pick up some sound from the Grabber. But yet no picture. I unplugged and rebooted so many times with no avail.
Multiviewer still does not operate and I am not sure whether it is the viewing software or my installation.
Can someone PLEASE assist??
