It's suspicious that you say 10x. If you said something random like 27x I could believe it. Also your usage is normal so it's clearly not over reading.

Thanks but that doesn't help me , using 5L indoors should register 5L on the meter not 45L. My consumption is from being careful with water.

I think you're not reading it correctly. I don't see any way where it can over read and still give the correct monthly consumption.

A reading of WWWW.RR00 -> WWWW.RR50 is five liters not fifty.

That's what I thought but couldn't say for sure without seeing. How the municipality can't know their own meters is just beyond me.

Thanks for the feedback , I will post pictures tomorrow of the start and end readings when filling 5L (over reads by by 8-10x) . My monthly consumption is about 15KL for a family of 4 (lucky i have a borehole for the garden) . The issue is the over reading of the meter which I never noticed till now . Can anyone test on a raised analog water meter ( measuring exact amounts of water )

so your average is 15KL and you say the meter is over reading so you being charged for like 150Kl a month?
