Waze beta app now warns users about roads with a notorious history of accidents

The latest beta version of the popular navigation app Waze warns users about dangerous roads, Israeli tech publication Geektime reports.

The app uses historical user reports and other data which suggest a particular route could be more susceptible to vehicle accidents than the average road.

Is it at all possible to include speed bumps in hazards so that users can warn others about speed bumps ahead? They are now very common and some can severely damage vehicles, particularly low profile cars.

Would an accident include putting drums across the road to make motorists stop, and then robbing them?

In Lester Road in Wynberg, this was done from 23h45 on 31st December. 2 people near here got caught. The SAPS did not come when called

Cool feature if it works properly. Got some really bad roads all over now.

Still prefer google maps.
