WBS Accounts Dept - My problem solved

I recently had a situation where I suspected that WBS have not debited my account for two months running.

I queried this via e-mail with WBS accounts department.

First of all, I received a response within one working day, and secondly, they checked and found that my account is in order. So off I went to the bank and discovered that the bank screwed up my statement. For some unknown reason, when the bank pulled my statements on their terminal, lo and behold there's the debit orders and that WBS have indeed been paid. Why these transactions do not show on my regular bank statement is a mystery the bank cannot explain. In other words: Bank cocked up, and yes it's a **** bank. (will be taking my business elsewhere soon)

Thanks very much to Mary Ann and Sonette at WBS... It proves that some people within WBS are trying very hard.

Ms Block never really replies to her emails, Kei, do you perhaps have email addresses for those two ladies? I requested they confirm my cancellation almost 3 months ago and never did. Also still sitting with the UTD and nobody has contacted me yet about coming to pick it up.

They not charging me though, but it wouldn't come as a suprise if they want to suddenly charge me a bazillion rand for unpaid months after I've told them to shove it.

The evil in WBS is uppermanagement and the orcs. I found the accounts department to be very friendly (and at times) efficient. But we're getting a "the one hand doesn't know what the other is doing" situation again. And I fear soon Sonette/Mary Ann and whoever will be fired for being efficient, customer serving employees of WBS.
