WBS Throttling POP3?

Is anyone experiencing problems downloading their mails on POP3 Port 110?

I cannot download my mails from any of the servers on this protocol.

Last I downloaded/sent mail was on Wednesday. The speed of the sending seemed slow but worked nonetheless.

In my opinion, it could be the fact there are 2 load balanced mailservers to handle nearly 5000 clients. But hey maybe it's just me....

if its M$ servers I would agree with you. But other, clever ISP's can easily have 50000 users per mail server.

tbh there's no throttling on this front.

I have quite often seen pop3 struggling along if the server is outside of the wbs network... from past discussions it seems to be a UUNET *funky* issue ...

All parties deny any problems though ....
