Medupi is sitting at over a 70% EAF which is one of the better ones, with one unit down it will produce up to 4GW. Kusile right now is around 800MW only one unit is running.
I don't think that EAF factors in them having to run the units at half power because of design defects. So Medupi probably producing less than 2GW and Kusile about 500MW.

Why didn't any journalist ask: "Uncle Cyril, can you give specifics of what you're doing which is any different to what you've been doing since 2008?"

What's with our journalists who cannot question any ANC politician? There's no such limitation when it's a non-ANC politician.
I can't wait for the day when no one pitches up to his news briefing.

So many don't realise how the very same mainstream media, who went out of their way to make Zuma into a buffoon, suddenly and completely stopped their character bashing when their darling cvnt took office.

Fsck, Zapiro drew a "deeply relevant" cartoon of President Zuma readying himself to rape the Lady Justice, yet have the audacity to write opinion pieces on how problematic is it is when South Africans have no respect for the Ramaphosa presidency?!

Establish a committee to gauge why Eskom deems it necessary to switch of certain sectors if they know their available generation capabilities are not sufficient and impose network limits municipalities have to abide by.

Something done..... Now sharraaappp

As soon as it's moved to his portfolio, he will enroll at a university to study electrical engineering, and once he gets his phd, just watch out load shedding, in 6-12 months after that, you will be a thing of the past. But that's also assuming demand in South Africa doesn't increase during that time, or else it will take another 6-12 months after that again, it's a vicious cycle. What I'm actually saying is that it's going to take about 10-15 years to resolve load shedding.

It will go a lot better if all those power hungry industries shut down...... Then South Africa would be a great place to invest in again..... Especially for makers of wind up radios and primus stoves
