and next he will tell everyone he has created more jobs than those that have been lost, despite the millions he promised when he took office.

May I interest you in a fire pool heater for those cold winter nights?

As far as I am concerned, there are no breakthroughs at Eskom unless they are accompanied by specifics (facts). This article had none. Even emerging 'facts' would be treated with caution, since the major Eskom stats that would aid verification are no longer published

He lost Mac so he's spouting BS on his own nowadays...even if achieved, 3% growth is still poor (though a step upward).

Anyone seen what the rand looks like after China devalued their currency? ****ing scary.

Despite slow growth globally, local economic growth is expected to increase to at least 3% over the next three years

So, growth was 2.2% in 2013, slowing to 1.5% in 2014, and is now under further pressure due to loadshedding. Global growth is expected to be slow.

How does this lead into a 3% growth prediction?

1.5% this year + 1% next year + 0.5% year after that = 3% total growth over next three years:D

Extra mega watts would be added to the electricity grid, the president said.

I heard the sound clip, king Zumatello spoke about "migga warts" (it's probably the result of all the self-confessed polygamous unprotected intercourse and ineffective showers).

One step forward one step back. Pretty much how the ANC runs this country. All well and good when you bring new capacity on. Not quite when the old machinery just breaks down.
