The thing I like about play is the ability to integrate their library and my library seamlessly. Apple music doesn't have a web player and screws up my tags and album artwork when using icloud. Deezer's support for uploaded tracks is horrible, and the rest don't even support the feature (AFAIK). For what it's worth, I prefer Deezer's interface and playlists.

What's wrong with this picture?Shouldn't digital versions be cheaper right from the start compared to hard copies(yes I see the 20% "special" discount here) taking into consideration the DVD production, packaging and shipping?

Yeah I also thought prices were a bit hefty. I think I'd prefer to rent from Box Office and stream from Nextflix. And you know, theres always KAT and TPB :whistling:

The DVD is not HD. But yeah, I agree that the price is too high on the Play Store. Especially for such a crap movie.

Yeah. Probably the best aspect of Play Music.

So rented Poltergeist. Quality was great and the streaming works 100% on HD with no buffering.

Movie was a good watch. Not the greatest and not as good as I remember the original from when I was a kid ... but still a lekker watch.

I do think their prices are too high though :(

Force stopping Google Play (store, services, or movies) didn't do the trick for me :-/

Can one still cast from Android Chrome web browser to Chromecast?

EDIT: That was on the 'movies' app, I see that I can rent on Google Play appstore. Not yet sure if I can cast from there...

This is obviously on the South African release track for rentals, and not US release track.

But still cool.

What do you mean?
Some movies for rent release firsy in the US, and only later in South Africa. I assume this service applies to South African media release dates (my jargon is a bit iffy)

Or perhaps I am incorrect?

Would make sense I guess.

I really think they are a bit hectic on their prices though. The buying price is not too bad (though it could be less considering there is no buying of physical media), but their prices for rentals are too steep in my view.
