I ordered parts on ebay in Feb (from china), it arrived (the slip, am yet to go and make the trek) 2 weeks ago.

SA Post Office parcel delivery tested — and 3 months later we are still waiting

MyBroadband tested the South African Post Office's parcel delivery service, and it failed dismally in keeping to its delivery target of two to five days.

We sent a package from the Baywest Mall Post Office branch in Port Elizabeth to Centurion on 21 February 2022.

You guys still never learn the lesson from rest of south africans?

Oi! This bad mouthing the PO needs to stop! They just this afternoon delivered TO MY HOUSE a letter with a Christmas card posted to me on 03 November by a business almost 6km away!! That is A++ levels of service.

No, expectations are very low. It's the strategy I employ to keep my sanity.

Had two packages (textiles) shipped through SAPO from Germany over the last 4 months. Germany to SA was like 3 days. SA to my nearest SAPO was around 3 weeks in both cases. I was just super happy they actually arrived

Our Postman no longers has a bicycle. Consequently nothing has been delivered since March

And…. They did not advise anyone

We find out that “some of the mail” is at a depot. Which depot? No-one knows. Visit the local depot. Lights are on, a radio is playing, but no answer

The phone is not answered. Telkom advise that the number is suspended

Complete and utter failure. No interest. Nobody could care less
