Starlink is awesome

Starlink can offer download speeds over 200Mbps, upload speeds greater than 15Mbps, and excellent latency to homes and businesses without any other network coverage, recent MyBroadband tests show.

Unfortunately, the South African government seems intent on obstructing this game-changing service from operating in the country.

We recently relocated (again!), and we looked at places in the Midlands outside of town (which has fibre). Unfortunately none of the places available at the time could guarantee a consistent Internet connection (which is my bread and butter), which was a big bummer. Other satalite services is not an option, and the wireless fibre and mobile options are not reliable during loadshedding, plus speeds and outages is not guaranteed.

An affordable and reliable Starlink connection will be a game changer for me.

Yea Awesome that we cant get it "legally" :/

"It would no longer be sufficient to have 30% of ownership equity held by historically disadvantaged groups."

Congrats, we're over apartheid, it's now purely just black supremacy.

There are plenty distributors with a high level BEE, I'm sure Tarsus is one of them, why don't they jump on board?

Why is your Starlink performance so poor compared to mine?

I would say apartheid is still alive and well. the colours changed. As long as you are only allowed to do business based on race by definition it is apartheid

Some of our politicians also "need to eat".Disgusting that every thing in RSA.needs a backhand.

Expecting Cull to be unbiased on this issue is akin to expecting AVBOB to be really sad when learning of someone's passing away. There must be billions in consulting fees to be raked in from this mad compliance game that is making corporate South Africa gasping for fresh air.
