Lekota misleading whites: FF Plus

Mosiuoa Lekota, the defence minister, is misleading whites when he asks them to join the SA National Defence Force (SANDF), Pieter Groenewald, the Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) spokesperson, said.

This follows a report in the Beeld that the top students undergoing flight training at the SA Air Force (SAAF) who are white would not be trained as fighter pilots because they had to make way for black students.

"We have no other choice. We are obliged to adhere to government's policy of affirmative action," Carlo Gagiano, a lieutenant-general and chief of the SAAF, was quoted as saying to the paper.

Traditionally, the top students have the choice where they want to go and the top three students chose to be fighter pilots, but because they have to make way for black students they will now have to choose between helicopter and transport plane flying.

"Lekota making a mockery of himself"
"The air force has now proven that the aspirations, ideals and hard work of these young people are being destroyed because as a result of their race," Groenewald said.

"The rejection of the top three trainee pilots for training on the Hawk fighter jets, just because they are white, makes a mockery of Lekota," he added.

He said Lekota's assurances that whites would not be discriminated against in the defence force had now been proved wrong.

"The continuous rejection of merit and lowering of standards will cause flying accidents which will not only cause loss of life, but will also be wasting taxpayers' money," Groenewald said. - Sapa

Losing a war is no laughing matter. A good defence force is something you REALLY need when you need it. Sort of like a blood transfusion or er dare I say insurance policy. If you don't keep it up to date, well prepared and in good condition you WILL lose out when "spontaneous phenomena" happens.

AFAIK even under AA legislation its illegal to completely bar entry to whites.

Relax people. :cool:

We just need super large fans on our border. If the starving horde come stampeding(well sort of) through we just blow them back were they came from. Not only that but it would be far more humane than "blowing" them to smithereens thus gaining brownie points from left who will no doubt be hiding somewhere with white flags raised.

The most significant danger faced by any African state is its own citizens. Ever wonder why the government spent so much effort on running down the Boeremag? Fear, not of the crazies of the Boeremag but of civil uprising.

Considering the problems that the state is currently experiencing with regards to security issues, civil uprisings on the level of the 1970's would overthrow the government. There are almost more private security guards than their are personnel in the SAPS and SANDF combined.

Poor civil service delivery, while in the short term being annoying for whites, will in the end be fatal for both the ANC and whites. If the government is overthrown, most likely be revolutionaries who will pretend to be "liberal" aka Mugabe style (pretend liberals, actual authoritarians). Scapegoats will be required, e.g. BEE elite and all the remaining whites.

The government should really re-consider its racial obsession and consider one of the founding principles of (any) liberal government.

"By the people, for the people and of the people" Not just the ones it can most easily manipulate and toy with for personal advancement.

yep u are right, its not the boeremag thats the prob though, its the friggin murderers, hijackers etc that are attacking - and we dont need fighter jets for that - but then again, what good is it investing in police cars etc - as there is far less kickbacks - govermnent might score a couple police vans for themselves.

Who no doubt will persuade ignorant "real liberals" into supporting them as is so often the case. :eek:

I heard that Zimbabwe could launch weapons of mass destruction at South Africa within 45 minutes of Uncle Bob giving the order...better watch out
