I don't usually like to rant, but I'm being ignored by Web Africa so hopefully I'll get a response this way.

So last month I downgraded my fibre connection from a 100mbps connection to a 20mbps connection after my debit order ran. My understanding was that the downgrade was suppose to happen as of the next billing period, but instead it was immediate. So I'm pretty miffed that I paid for a 100mbps connection for the month, but got a 20mbps connection instead. So I contacted them and logged a ticket, asking that they either credit me or fix the line speed. But alas, no response from them even after I've made attempts to follow up on the query.

I guess if customer service isn't a priority to them I can just reverse my debit order for this and last month. That normally gets the attention of any billing department. And then I'll just move to another ISP, never to look back.

I've been having issues getting a response from them as well.

Got a call about month ago saying fibre is available in my area- obviously I ordered a line. Our body corporate confirmed they gave fibrehoods the go-ahead to do the necessary installations.

The next Monday, two guys show up at the complex, throw a cable over the wall at the entrance of the complex and leave. Fast forward a week later, the cable is still laying there. Emailed WA and asked what's going on, to which they said they have forwarded my query to the manager- No response but the cable was removed almost immediately. Followed up twice after that and received no response.

Going to cancel my order from WA and move to different ISP.

Edit: If the rep took the time to have a look and see what's going on, I would have kept my order, but she just accepted my request. Communication is vital. thus Cancelled.
