I recently got my 384k ADSL installed after 8 weeks of waiting (but that is another topic all together). I was orginally going to use CyberSmart as my ISP but after an unpleasant experience with thier call centre and a lot of reading on this forum. I chose to go with WebAfrica.

Their customer service is excellent, there support staff are excellent and I had my ADSL setup in no time. I also recently upgraded my account with absolutely no problems and super speedy service.

I would just like to applaud Web Africa and I recon we all should give credit where it is due and moan when service sucks....

WELLDONE WEBAFRICA, YOU GUYS HAVE SOME OF THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED FROM A COMPANY...EVER!!!!!

Regards
Murray

Strange that killadoob with his 3700+ posts didn't know that you can still read the forums if you're not registered.

I never got into the habit of reading without registering, but I know a lot of people who do that ;)

On topic: I have to agree that WA have very good service.

Murray, welcome to MyADSL.

I totally agree with you about Web Africa. They have proved they are a top class ISP.

Killadoob, a Web Africa spy? LOL After all this time and you're still having all these conspiracy theories about ISP spy's. Web Africa certainly does not need to make posts under other nicks to show how good their service is - they've proved themselves over and over just by offering good service and support, so we already know this.

I know quite a few people who are regular readers of MyADSL but have chosen not to register yet.

Some people don't have ADSL as yet, so they don't feel they should post. As Murray said, he's recently had ADSL installed, so maybe only now did he feel the need to post.

Also, maybe you should have checked his join date (19-10-2006). His first post was over 10 days later. So be sure of your facts before you go saying silly things about people.

Murray and others - Thanks for the kind words, I'll pass them along to the staff. :)

Killadoob, well spotted, though I have to say I don't think he is a spy. We now have over 100 employees in our MyAdsl department, generating posts and usernames. Of course each one goes through a rigourous training program to ensure they don't make such obvious slipups like "first posts". ;)

Well in my experience if McD's offered service like WA, you would drive onto the forecourt over a sensor which would identify who you are by the pattern of your car tyres, automatically order your favourate meal and automatically debit your credit card/bank account, also giving you a choice to change it by simply saying so (your voice being picked up by super cool microphone strategically place). By the time you have driven around the building and come out of the drive-through there would be a handler standing with a smile on his/her face ready to hand you your meal. All this without stopping, saving you time, saving you money and saving you from getting irretated by the lack of action with the promise of: it is immenent that your order will be taken.

Aah if only all the companies in SA would strive to deliver serivce like WA...

I too find Webafrica absolutely brilliant. I am with them because of the comments on these forums. My only fear is that because they are sooooo good, they will get big like MWEB and then take on a corporate "screw you", "we are big we can do what like" attitude.

Please WEBAFRICA promise us you will remain the same as we grow you.
