WebAfrica down ?

Client bit started working a few minutes ago again ( been off since before 1. Rest of their website was working all along )

But I still cannot get the modem to log onto the system
It worked around 8am today, but not since I tired from bit before 13:00

Im in JHB
 
Has anyone in JHB actually loged in with their ADSL modem after 13:00 ? ( not just been running sice before then )
 
Nope, I haven't been able to connect since after lunch either. Not even to telkom guest account.
 
Yup. Same problem. Tried various IS accounts as well as SAIX based ones. Server is connected so praying it doesn't have to disconnect till monday ;)
 
According to MWEB, telskum are the source of the problem, it's a general JHB problem, and telskum's imaginary technition fairies are supposedly working on the problem. Also in the news, bigfoot was spotted eating an alien.
 
How ironic is this, I got rid of Sentech because of the constant outages ect ect and now the first weekend I got ADSL its out aswell

You broke everyones internet :(

No issues here in western cape. Apparently jhb area have the most dsl issues of all places compared to the cape where dsl is relatively stable. This from a source within Telkom!
