Felt I just had to give praise where praise it due.

Pre-Paid WebAfrica ADSL. It rocks!

The reason. They make it so easy to use.

After you have made your initial purchase with say your credit card your details are stored. All you need to do is logon to your Service area to check your usage. If you see you need to top up, all you do is hit "Prepaid ADSL" and then "Purchase". It will ask for confirmation and it's done.

As simple as 3 clicks. Bandwidth is added almost immediately (if you have funds :D ) and your invoice is emailed. On you go. Plus if you don't use it all up it carries over to the next month.

Great service.

Keep up the good work.

And it appears the local only option is non-port shaped. Nice!

But shouldnt it be law for all packages now ?

I also love the prepaid option. It works out a little more expensive than the normal 3gb account, but worth it because of the rollover.

WebAfrica leads the way. I have a pre-paid (Unshaped - and there is still a difference) and have a 10GB Shaped.

The pleasant surprise I got in my inbox for reduced rates, made my weekend - THANK YOU WebAfrica.

I have been able to get many friends and colleagues to signup with WebAfrica due to their excellent service and the number 1 convincing factor: Pre-Paid! A REAL winner.

Have to add to this. I love the prepaid WebAfrica option too.

For those who don't know, WebAfrica offers 1gb for R70 (was R75 last month).

Okay, so thats pretty much about the right price, you may be thinking. Yes, but, here there is no contract! And the data caries over!

So, if you are a person who only uses 300mb per month (should be more than enough for browsing and email only), then your 1gb (R70) will last you 3 months. Then you simply buy more data.

Eve if you need to use 3gb one month, its still competitive rate (3x R70 = R210), and any data not used carries over!

I recommend to all my clients to use WebAfrica prepaid!
(unless they have masive downloading needs)

Over n out

For the record OpenWeb also offers pre-paid, but it doesn't carry over and WebAfricas automated setup is just much easier to use :D

Its the fact that it carries over, that makes it stand out. Furthermore, its cheap and convenient.
OpenWeb, by the way, if you want to pay by eft, you have to pay six months in advance... Pretty much tied to them for six months then aren't you.

Yip !! Rollover is sooooo important. People often forget to consider it for what it is. Rollover is one of THE most important things to consider.

Oh! Thats also why I'm going to VirginMobile, but thats a seperate issue now isn't it? ;)

 No. You pay month to month. I do a direct transfer and then send proof of payment. Only thing is it can take a few hours sometimes before getting your account details.

WebAfrica please give us 5 GIG Pre-paid now though. Thanks :D

What do you mean? Web Africa give you as many prepaid gigs as you like. You can order a million prepaid gigs if you have the money...

Prepaid is prepaid, its self explanatory, you buy per GB, not per 3, 5 or 10GB.

I want a SINGLE 5 GIG PREPAID OPTION INSTEAD OF HAVING TO BUY MULTIPLE 1 GIG ACCOUNTS TO THE VALUE OF 5 GIGS BECAUSE IT WOULD WORK OUT R60 CHEAPER FOR US.

i.e. prepaid 1 GIG accounts and prepaid 5 GIG accounts.

Is this really so difficult to understand :(

Ok I think I know what your saying...
You dont have to buy "multiple" 1gig prepaid accounts. You buy one prepaid account then top it up with as many gigs as you like.

Also you're trying to say you want 5 gigs of prepaid for the same price as 5 gigs of post-paid? The problem with that is ISP's make their profit from customers not using all of their post-paid gigs, ie. if you only use 4.5 gigs in 1 month of your 5gig post-paid account then the ISP scores 500mb.
With prepaid you will ultimately use every last mb on the account, so ISP's have to charge more in order to make a profit.

Im finding it terribly difficult to understand, are you saying you would like to purchase a 5GB account whereby you top up with 5GB's each time(instead of 1GB)? Plus the bandwidth rolls over? I dont see the point in that, same as getting a 1GB account and purchasing 5gb's each time you run out.
Im still
