Webafrica / Vumatel 10mbps

Any idea why this line speed is not offered by Webafrica/Vumatel. I am on a the 4mbps line and feel it is just too much of a stretch for the extra R200 up to the 20mbps line.

Would be perfect. Frogfoot fibre has a10meg option.

I suspect it might be a Vumatel issue. We are with Web Africa with another fibre provider and 10mbps is offered.

Vumatel does not offer 10Mb

Why would that be? All the others start off with 10 mbps, just not Vumatel. But their cost is the same for 4 that it would have been for 10 at a different provider. Very annoying...

You could also ask why does every other fibre provider use a pppoe connection when active Ethernet like vumatel uses has less overhead and thus a higher throughout at the same speeds.
