WeChat boasts top spot in South African iTunes store

Citing the GlobalWebIndex report, WeChat said it is the fastest growing social platform in the world

I'm okay with this. WeChat is a slick app on Android. The only reason I don't use it is because I don't know anyone else who uses it. I would ditch WhatsApp for WeChat without hesitation if everyone else did.

What don't you like about the app? I thought it was very nice.

Another reason people downloaded it so furiously is because they all believed Whatsapp was going to start charging the $1.99 subscription per year.

I remember all social media was full of angry people and all of them downloaded and loved WeChat and Whatsapp was the worse app ever... Now they are all back on Whatsapp again.
