Yeah, I found that ...... All I did was re-size it in Paint though :D So the Vignette effect is all natural baby :D

Seems we only have fitted sheets at home. We tried our best to straighten it, but it never worked. I'll try buy a new one tomorrow to use as a drop and try again. Also cant get the back light far enough away down the passageway . I'll have to see if we can try take it somewhere else.

Oh and this was meant as a trial run I want to of my wife. She is 11 weeks prenant and we wanted something to show as her tummy get bigger. The shots of her standing up all came out bad :( Hopefully the next run will work out better

Also the point is to that you may only submit photo's you have taken that week. So even if you have a stunning photo taken on last week or on the last day of the previous weeks theme, You have to go out and do it again

Light does funny things :) I'm kidding babes. (and I also agree)

That image is one of the only ones that came out good though. Because we couldn't move the back-light further away the defraction of the light cause the silhouette to be "bigger" than it should of been. Claire said if I posted those up she would kill me :D She keeps on telling me she looks fat, Of course I keep on telling her she is pregnant, if she was skinny I'd be worried about the baby

You can see it happen on the top of the image I posted, close to her head, where there are two different levels of "darkness" on the sheet. The further away you have the light source the better the silhouette looks. The waves in the sheet also distort it somewhat.

So on my list to buy is, a new back/front drop and a wireless flash transmitter

Dunno if you shoot Nikon but if you do you can use CLS, no need for wireless flash transmitter...

But you can look here if you want one/some :D

P.S. not related to the shop

No nikon for me. I already have a flash for my OM1, But the foot mount doesn't fit and I'm a bit worried with the voltage. That and its about 20 years old. The FL50 flash for my camera is going at about 7K. Its wireless on its own so I wouldn't need anything, but No way am I able to afford that just yet. I've be looking at Graham Robertsons site, though I'm going to go compare pricing there now as well quick

Just a thought as I dont know how they CLS works? Though does it required the built in camera flash to fire? If so.. its not going to work for Silhouette's where you only need the backlight to fire

Correct you need an on camera pop up flash for it to work or a master flash on the camera... Silhouettes will work because you can set the pop up flash to fire and just trigger the off camera flash and not add any light into the pic...

I'd vote for both of these! Perfect examples of B&W in context :)
