Agreed! Captures the "mood" but I would say sepia tones would work better with the subject/content you used!

Thats if the off camera flash picks up the flash behind the backdrop.Correct you need an on camera pop up flash for it to work or a master flash on the camera... Silhouettes will work because you can set the pop up flash to fire and just trigger the off camera flash and not add any light into the pic...

Hmmm let me see. NO...I'd actually get a nikon before I get a canon. Though never if anyone tries to tell me their brand is better than another that they actually dont really know much about
Anyway... I so cant believe nobody has done this yet. I was trying to get it done today, though couldn't find a video card that would fit into any of my old machines to power it up. here is an image I found that I was planning on trying to take a photo off, Which was the first thing I actually thought of when I heard the word Monochrome
