Nah, we keep it running..... if no photos get posted for a week's run, then we just give the new week to the last winner and they have to choose a new topic.

M2CW - I would prefer to continue with the same topics to the next week, or until such time as an 'acceptable' number of entries have been posted. I really like some of these themes, and would be sorry to miss them as I enjoy each one immensely, and learn oodles each time.

So pliss can we continue with the topics, rather than chop & change each week? Unfortunately circumstances have resulted in me not being able to focus (sorry) on each weeks theme as much as I would have liked, but hopefully I can get back on track shortly. Seems I might not be the only one swamped with other things at the moment?

Its called the run up to the christmas break.. workload increases to a stupid level as everything HAS to be completed before a certain date.

When does the week close ? Took some nice photos of a road we are building through the Nkandla forest yesterday but can only post them tonight as forgot my camera at home today....

It usually closes on a Wednesday evening. But with no entries right now I'm not sure.

As everyone has said this time of year is a mad house everywhere. Its like the whole of SA suddenly wake up at the last minute. I'm still waiting for some of my clients to start ordering things for a breakdown on the 11th of December, 2 hours before I leave to meet up with my wife at CERN, Even though we sent out letters a month ago saying all orders submitted after the 25th of November would be delivered on in January.

I think it's about time this thread was resurrected so between now and Feb 10 the theme is Street Photography.

One new rule: your submission has to contain at least one person.

Plenty of time to shoot (including two weekends) but as usual only two entries per person - feel free to chop and change up until closing - and all images must have been taken during the next two weeks.

To sweeten the pot first prize will be some MyBB branded gear.

People make it street photography - or at least as far as this exercise is concerned. Otherwise whats the difference between it and landscape?
