Weird problems

I have an IBurst UTD and I typically have it connected via ethernet port directly onto the PC (AMD running WinXP Home).

The issue is sometimes my IBurst connection crashes for no apparent reason. The UTD will still reflect the 5 green lights of connectivity however my internet connection will not send or receive any traffic. Furthermore when I try to disconnect my IBurst connection it freezes and won't disconnect until I reset my entire PC. Even then my Windows won't shut down because it can't shut down the IBurst connection so I have to manually power down the box.

I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced anything like this? and/or had any suggestions?

Thanks.

Ok, this is really becoming a problem now (when playing games or downloading etc.)
Does anyone else experience this and have you done anything that rectifies it?

Funny that you mention the problem ... I am not connected via my PC, but via a wireless router, and I have the same problem basically. All lights on, but my router's web interface doesn't respond. have to reset everything as well!

I use to have that problem when I plugged my modem directly into my pc and started up torrents... my PC would freeze and hang etc... got the modem replaced and hooked it up to a wireless router no problems ever since...

P.S It also happened wiht my second whereby I was just browsing and it would hang... I still blame the modem tho...
