Well done !!
1)Cash in transit heist yesterday -nearly all suspects arrested, still hunting for remaining scumbags
2) Armed robbery in Woodmead today - one suspect dead, one shot, all captured.
2 x other robberies foiled as well in the pasty 2 days including one on a farm, also Armed Robbery and the ****ers had ak 47's

Well done to the SAPS NIU (national intervention unit) but please next time kill these animals in cold blood. This is the result of excellent intel.

I praise them all the time, what I dont praise is corruption and the way they carry on in public, dont forget that this is a highly specialise unit, ranking up there with the SA task Force, almost, now we just have to wait and see if the detectives mess up the case.

I hope they see it through and that these guys get life without parole.

Yes RPM, I spoke to a friend who is in the SAPS and he told me that the NIU was waiting for them on 2 of the incidents, this came from extremely good intelligence, all I can say is thanks to the person who informed the SAPS.
Well done a thousand times for taking these scum bags off the streets.

Good to hear (coming from marine1 especially ;)).

Still moving?
I dont want to spoil this thread but I still am hesitant to assume that these guys will go to jail, a lot can happen from arrest to conviction. You never know what can happen with the detective work which we all know is terrible. I am however still moving ;) , the fact that these robberies occur in the first place is alarming , what if they never had these tip offs? Maybe your parent, sibling or kid could have been caught in the crossfire.

Great work by the police! Unfortunately for all their hardwork its the justice system itself that lets all the hard work fall by the wayside.

Yup thats why i think marine wants them to get shot on site :p

No need for our justice system to be put to the test which it will fail anyhow :p

My point exactly and yes that is why I really hope they shoot them dead, less chance of them getting back on the street

Well Done SAPS!

Let us not become complacent. The SAPS has come a long way and morale is definitely up amongst the ranks. The thing to watch out for is bureaucratic stagnation. By this I mean Policemen and woman becoming too comfortable in their jobs and falling into a rut. It is up to management to make the workplace interesting and rewarding for our Police Force. After all it is our hard work that goes to pay for their wages and I expect the same in return. Keep it professional and keep in contact with the community through all channels of communication like Police Forums and the like.

We need to take South Africa back from the criminals. Go SAPS!:)

It's a terrible catch 22 we found ourselves in. The justice system doesn't work so the public applauds them being shot on site, the downside of this is the criminal element (knowing that the justice system doesn't work) become more trigger happy in their disrespect for human life.

I love it when the law strikes back hard!! Fight fire with fire...I robbers start shooting at the cops..I think the cops would be justified to even call in an artillery strike and flush the scum..

Lets take our country back bit by bit or by chuncks where possible :D
