Business can make all the logical arguments they want, but they fall on deaf ears when it reaches government. Or the message is garbled and Government hears they're doing a fantastic job increasing unemployment more.
Unfortunately, someone forgot to explain to government they're supposed to DECREASE unemployment, not INCREASE it.
Until government starts doing something about unemployment, creating an economic environment conducive to investment, and creating jobs, business will always be on the back foot and nothing will happen. Government likes to talk about unemployment, but lip smacking doesn't translate into action. Yet people lap it all up and continue voting for a party that continually pulls this country backwards.

Not nearly as much as the lazy socialists like seeing the capitalists get taxed to fund their couch potato life styles

That wasn't communism. That was Leninism and Stalinism. We have yet to see an actual implementation of true communism.
