In a shop at around 11h00. My Capitec card did not work for 25 mins

FNB banking channels were unavailable. A hack caused outages first to Azure then Crowdstrike - Its Scary Coz it prevents us from accessing our bank accts/money & this means we woNt b able to access anything else..no internet..

There was no hack.

I believe it was the reason my flight to the UK was delayed by 7hrs. As if moving countries wasn’t stressful enough. We sat around the airport for hours.

Read an interesting article, as we know everyone is now opening their lawsuits.

But one line read "the lawsuit, which seeks class action status, is one of the first legal actions to emerge as Delta, CrowdStrike and Microsoft engage in a public battle..."

Interesting that Microsoft is getting into it? I wonder if its Crowdstrike roping in MS to share blame somehow (how?), or the airlines thinking MS should have done more or what? Cause we know it was squarely a CS problem even though Microsoft products were affected.
