Our Police and Army injuring, and killing, citizens trying to enforce a terrible decision by Government, and our mainstream media praising them.

There is another aspect concerning me. Food consumption is dropping. People are not shopping and satisfying their wants because they can't travel on demand. Fresh produce is piling up in storage. Sooner or later this starts going bad and thrown away not generating income. Farmers cutback on production, the flow is interrupted. The LD is removed, nothing to meet the pent up demand, shortages, price rises, even less sold.
We have no idea as ordinary slobs of the ripple effects of a LD. If the LD does not achieve and deliver on its goals all it has done is screw up further a virtually broken economy.
People are eating more. And cooking more?

You should be able to buy anything that is in the stores but non essentials will not be replaced. What are non essentials? I heard that someone tried to buy reading glasses at Clicks but was told that they are non essential. Someone's washing machine packed up and this is classed as non essential? What is essential to one person is not essential to another. A friend woi lives in France says that they can buy anything that they want.

My main 2 concerns are;
1. Economic impact and;
2. That 21 days is probably not going to be enough, leading to more problems for point 1...

Government shutting down the voices of anyone except them as far as communication regarding this is concerned. What's next?

That the lockdown will be lifted too early. If there is to be a brief respite, it must be only long enough to stock up on more than basic essentials. Otherwise, extend the range of goods and services that are acceptable and allow e-commerce sites to deliver more.

We're just delaying the inevitable. There's no vaccine coning soon, and we aren't getting herd immunity by hiding in our houses.

We're holding in a big dump that has to come out sooner or later, but the longer we hold it in the more it's going to hurt.
