I freaking love this book.
Didn't get it not my type of genre. The audiobook is very well done though, has a great intro but once it goes "online" I couldn't follow the story. I understood the outline but the details get murky and weird

Shockaholic - Carrie Fisher

Although I love her wit, this book was a bit disappointing. 2/5

Just finished this. One of the best books I've ever read.

Yeah I went through a phase of John Irving books years back. a Prayer for Owen Meany and World According to Garp are also great.

Just got a Kindle Paperwhite so I'm hoping it gets me back into reading, as it's been a long time of neglecting it. Currently reading Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita

Had a Kindle Paperwhite. Used it for a good couple months.
Hardly have time now, so I read when I can, on my phone.

Moon Reader ftw.

I'd replace my Paperwhite instantly if it broke or got lost. Indispensable to me.

The Master and Margarita is great. So surreal.

I have just re-read Nightwatch, Thud and Snuff back-to-back, as Pratchett's last 3 Sam Vimes novels.

It's quite poignant to see evidence of Pratchett's degenerative disease taking hold in Snuff. Still a good read, but..darker.

Reading 2 books of Edward de Bono - Water Logic & Textbook of Wisdom.

Both are well worth a read for anyone & everyone.

Quite enjoy his books, another to look at is Stephen Leather

I had read the odd one here and there of Cussler before, just giving it a serious go now for something different from my normal sci-fi/ fantasy. Thanks for the tip, will have a look.
