The second to last book in the Malazan Book of the Fallen series, by Steven Erikson. It's been a looooong slog, but so worth it! Definitely recommended for people who like a good gritty fantasy.

What a blast from the past, anywhere we can still read them maybe online?
I was lucky enough a few months ago to find all 5 books on bidorbuy for R150 + 30 zar delivery.
I use to have a pdf version somewhere but never got into it, iPad 2 weighs alot more than a paperback

Just finished Freedom of the Mask, book 6 in the Matthew Corbett series by Robert Mccammon. Just did a marathon, rereading the whole series, which is brilliant, in anticipation of book 7, which is out in January, can't wait.

I quite enjoyed his Trevor Lawson novellas. Should probably read more of his stuff.

Currently busy with the 2nd The Expanse book, Caliban's War. Enjoying it.

Matthew Corbett series is on my radar.

But talking about Mccammon, I came here to say, Swan Song is one of my favourite books of all time. Similar premise to The Stand, but better all round I thought. I’m actually due a re—read some time soon.

Came here for some more recommendations - think I'll tackle Swan Song next - but at the moment am ploughing through William James' The Varieties of Religious Experience. At least it's elevating my English.:D

Dracula Norton Critical Edition

This Norton Critical Edition presents fully annotated the text of the 1897 First Edition. A rich selection of background and source materials is provided in three areas: Contexts includes probable inspirations for Dracula in the earlier works of James Malcolm Rymer and Emily Gerard.

Shoe dog all done ..

On to Sapiens...

Can anyone recommend where to start with Brandon Sanderson books? Which one is a good place to start with, or which one is the start, if you know what I mean?
