genre?

you have probably read all i have read :D

I doubt it, your pace is incomprehensible.

But it was really a rhetorical question I guess.

I'd enjoy a new Steven King, or similar, I think.

Winter of the World, after a chapter or three, is going to an undertaking for which I am not quite prepared.

:D remember, I'm a little new to this whole reading thing... only really started middle last year.

Have you read 11/22/63? I really enjoyed it.

Of course - I've read all his books, aside from from the Dark Tower series, which I will delve into at some point.

11/22/63 was amazing.

And, yes, fair enough, you've then got some catching up to do. Although a rough estimate doesn't really lead to that many books read - If I assume around 1 per week, that's only a 100 or so every two years, which leads to something approaching a thousand over the course of my reading career. Doesn't seem like much.

I'm need of something to listen to. Reading I'm sorted but need something well narrated on audio.

I think I tried the dark elf trilogy a few week back but gave it up for a reason I can't remember and I figure it couldn't have been very good.

Some of the audiobooks I've enjoyed because of good narration:
- Ready Player One
- Armada
- The Martian
- Expanse series
- Dark Tower series
- Brandon Sanderson stuff
- Heechee series
- Hyperion Cantos

You've probably read the all :(

It really feels funny to see you talking about reading, when you said that you're actually listening to an audio track.

most of the books i read and listen at the same time. the only time i only listen, is when I'm driving... while I'm on the train, I read along in the book, and after hours (at home) i read further, then when I get back into my car, I quickly fast forward to where I've read up to the night before, and go on from there... my time spent in a car is just about 20min a day, give or take.

Schedule is kinda like this:
- Get up in the morning, take a schit, read
- Get in the car, listen
- Get on the train, listen and read
- Walk to work from station, listen
- and reverse back in the afternoon
- in the evening i might read while my wife watches her soaps
- get in bed, and read for about 30mins before sleep/sexy time

Read those except the first two and second last. I usually skip a book if it rates below 4 on goodreads. And no YA adult.

Why is "Atlas Shrugged" such a good book? I can't seem to get past page 30 or 40 and I have tried several times.

You've got to be realistic fanie :D

what, with my words of radiance comment? :D

I think it could be that the i've read a lot of mediocre books lately, and I really liked this...

i should actually remove the scores, because they aren't supposed to be what a think about the book, more an indication what I think of it in terms of the others around it... :)
