We use fibre because we have a lot of people using the net and we need the speed. Fibre came to our neighbourhood in July.

Fixed LTE - Telkom Uncapped

Complex was built new with only BronbergWISP as the sole internet provider. They are extremely expensive so I had to get a wireless service that I don't require an antenna outside, thus Telkom LTE Uncapped.

Fibre - 40/20 Openserve + Telkom
They have a deal with our estate to manage it through the body corporate or something. I'd get Afrihost if we had an option.

Telkom LTE uncapped.
Was the R599 /pm initial deal. Into 3rd year now so only R540. Can't beat the price, but would consider fibre if it were available.

Fixed LTE because it's the only option we have for our area. Our area is about 7 years old and Telkom are reluctant to put lines in.

VSDL - because it's the least expensive, highest speed uncapped service available here.
Could not agree more. By far cheaper than fibre and speed is more than enough for a household. Personally Fibre is overkill. I have 20Mbps and trust me, we USE the heck out of that line.
