I was watching the latest video from Coin Bureau, (
) and I saw some cool stuff I could buy here, (VPN, Trips and so on ...)

But those are all technically overseas businesses, so, what, (somewhat reliable), shops accept crypto as a form of payment in South Africa?
Any online or brick and mortar shop here?

Anything you buy with crypto is a taxable event - THIS DOES NOT AVOID TAX - it really is pointless and creates a compliance headache more than anything

Just sell you crypto and buy anywhere...

It's easier to pay tax but if you have spare crypto lying around you can use Shopping.IO. I know Sheldan Evans (youtuber) has used it to buy a few products from Amazon and you can get a discount form time to time.

I never said anything about avoiding tax ... not sure why you felt the need to tell me that, (OR SHOUT IT AT ME).

I want to use my crypto for 2 reasons

- so I don't pay fees to convert
- to promote crypto adoption by usage.

In South Africa?

Probably a whole new set of Gupta presidents, this time without electronic traces of where our tax money went..

Sorry, not sure I understand, what is easier to pay tax? With Crypto? Convert then pay tax? Only convert what is needed to pay tax?

Generally people want to buy items with Crypto to avoid paying taxes. If this is your main goal then it is easier to pay tax and buy through trusted channels. If you want to use the crypto to buy items for other reasons (lower fees, promotional discounts, quicker) then shopping.io is probably your best bet. I know there are also a few guys on carbonite who accept crypto for various items

-Goodluck trying to find a places to pay in Cryptos since they are so volatile.
We hope so but I doubt if anyone will risk doing it.

How does that help ... it doesn't, you have to convert to Fiat and then you do that you pay fees.

I don't need anybody to pay me.

I am looking for places where I can use my crypto directly, from my wallet to theirs ... with no middleman.

you can buy solar cells from TheSunExchange with BTC fwiw:

more of a philantropic gesture than anything else though given the very low % yield that will get you
