LOL. When I was a kid, my parents were big fans. Trust me, going to school in the 90's and only knowing Elvis songs, does not help you in the popularity department.

Should they ever dare to land here, they would proberly get pistol whipped and or shot by a cop before they could even ask for directions.

If I could I would destroy all technology (probes, radio transmission, etc) thats trying to contact ET; until such time we have developed warp drive ;) - and have colonised our local star system.

I think chances are ET will be hostile, and if not hostile, he will definitely be packing seeing as he must be very advanced to have made the trip here - and inviting him over here while we're still cooking with gas and dont even have iRobots will just be inviting trouble

That is like saying an ant must destroy its nest. We probably seen no better than ants by a species that's millions of years ahead of us in their view.

huh?? - not his nest; just the devices other ants use to make smoke signals trying to get our attention - cause they know that will just invite some Doom
