Hi Emm-Jay - i hope this helps. I like the word challenge app on facebook. Its easy to use and the competitive features are great.

The chat feature tab is quite buggy. They should improve that.

The search function for applications should be better. Its not very user-friendly at the moment. They should have more options describing more applications. They should also use dynamic loading of text instead of reloading a page when searching for apps. Its less frustrating.

It's not going to. Read an Q&A session with one of FB employees on reddit I think. Basically chat is at the bottom of the priority list for FB since it doesn't make any money and sort-of works as is.

Initially I was amazed by the applications on Facebook, and how easy and sophisticated a web site it was. Then my friends started spamming me, I found all kinds of nasty crap. They're basically just gimmicks.

Now I just avoid them as much as possible.

Just kidding, I'm not on facebook but one interesting thing I've seen, with applications, is the way they trick people.

For instance, the app will start out as something innocent and popular (to trap all the noobs), something like "I LOVE TWILIGHT SAGA APP OF LUSHNESS AND UBER FUN"

Then tons of people will sign up. Once they've hooked enough people it'll change to "XXXX HOT SEXY CHAT XXXX" or something similar.

I used to play the mafia wars, but got over it, I have some quizzes I've answered on my profile, and some music thing that shows all your favorite artists and songs

Like I said I'm not on Facebook, so I don't know all the lingo. The the scenario I posted happed to my girlfriend.

I don't know if it was an app or a quiz or whatever else they have on Facebook....
