Socialism, like capitalism, is a broad and pretty general term. Neither has any definitive manifesto written by an individual who invented the concept. Both go back thousands of years.

That quote is in practice only applied as is at the beginning of a revolution.... after that "the workers" becomes interpreted as "the party".

Deploy the army. All of them. Bring out the big guns. water cannons, hurty spinny guns, napalm and any nukes that might be lying about. Time to get serious.
