What do you think will happen?

I for one will immediately choose not to renew any contract with Sentech once my contract has expired.

My reasons vary. I do not like them, or their suppliers, or their agent companies because there is a prevalent attitude that they are doing us all a favour. They're very smarmy, and to be perfectly honest, I think that Sentech is a bunch of filthy, lying theives.

My bad impression with Sentech started after I basically had to lick their backside to supply it, by providing them with personal financial statements.

Although my service has been adequate for what I use it for (with the occasional outage), it is absolutely not what I am paying for.

Considering that Vodacom will likely be launching a similar service, do you intend to also terminate your contract as soon as it expires?

I have a feeling that the "5% of unhappy mywireless users" is actually 90% of their users. And that not only have these 90% of unhappy users rightfully turned what must already be thousands of people against thier service, but they will also choose not to renew their contracts. Leaving Sentech with a whole lot of expensive towers to pay off, and much less income per month.

All I can say is that after many months of this, if sentech is still in the position it is in now, it's a disgrace. Sentech and it's ilk are clearly being run into the ground.

And to be perfectly honest, that is where they belong.

I could say something about who actually run's the business, but that would just seem racist. (never stopped me before but hell, this time I could seriously hurt people... not that THAT has stopped me before, but yea, feeling "nice" today)

Anyway, first rule of business ... and this is a biggie.... THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT

For instance, "Hi, I have a problem on tower 82, can't connect" "Ohhhh golly gosh sire, you are the only one that bitched about this problem today, please **** off"

NOT "The customer is always right" attitude. Neither is the one "let's sue their asses for thinking they can start a website" attitude.

So yea.... cancelling my contract would be my pleasure. Oh, and the only reason why I took MyWireless is because it is kinda portable and i don't have my own house (where I live at) as of yet where I can install a landline. Renting is a bitch, but cheap [;)]

Help save the bandwidth. Decent download speeds for TheRodent! Stop downloading now!!!

As soon as Vodacom does their thing I'm gonna cancel this sentech crap and see if vodacom's gonna lie and steal or learn from sentech's mistakes.

Aye, unless things make a huge change, I think very very few people will renew. Even if the service gets fixed in the near future I would be wary about placing any trust in that particular group of people again. As they say, once bitten twice shy.
