Black Friday creates a monetary whirlpool every year at consumer level. Now can those in control tell us why this is so, and not every day of the year in a slightly less fashion.
Why is capitalism dead-? Why are prices so high in relation to income, this is a relativity game time has proved.
FORGET about the scapegoat called INFLATION, rather ask why-? Higher wages is not the answer time has proved.
I think Black-Friday are speaking to the Government and those that creates money for distribution through scocieties.....
So who in this monetary game of relativity has to give to get it going-? All I know is the consumer is not in charge of the game.

Your post is a bit confusing. Since you ask one question in the heading and one in your post, I have to say, if capitalism is dead as per the question in your post asking why it is dead, then being dead is what's wrong with it as per your heading question.

You specifically name Game and Whirlpool and yet the same can be said of Bosch and Dion Wired. I agree about the goat though. Once a goat at Kazbeki village escaped and was later found drinking at the fountain of abundance near Bekikazstan village. For one year the village never make sex with goat and now find better capitalism for entire village.

Only thing it has proven is that people want more stuff. Prices for "luxuries" and "extras" are high compared to income.

Funny how our parents were happy with a small portable black and white TV at first, then came 54cm color... the rest is history. People are just not satisfied.

Agree ... one main thing wrong with capitalism in my view is that want comes at a great cost to The environment with a lot of excess waste ...still best economic system but has it flaws

So the solution is more State control? More compulsion in economic contracts? Taking away people's freedom to start their own businesses and buying from and selling to whom they wish? Reducing everything to a government monopoly?

Any alternative is far worse environmentally. Socialism has a track record of massive environmental devastation, hugely inefficient use of resources. It also ends up killing people.

The real struggle is dealing with greed. Nothing to do with an ism, it's been a human trait since the fall.
Even prior to greed (if one can imagine a prelapsiarian world) we must instantiate justice, and in a social setting our conception of justice and right informs what sort of political economy we have. The first item on that agenda is: What is the legitimacy and role of compulsion in human relations.
