What does it take to get RAIN to attend to a request?

After having signed up for the Black Friday special on Rain's 5G, it turned out that the service wasn't going to work for me, so I decided to return the router and cancel the subscription.
It took a few tries (four) to contact the support team to get someone to actually phone me to arrange the router to be returned. Eventually that did happen, but now the next matter is to actually cancel the sim card -which I was told to do via the portal, but as the option was not available to me - I told this to the agent who then would escalate the issue. I have phoned, emailed and chatted to agents via live chat, but not once have I had any feedback on the matter of disabling my sim card. Today I will probably log the sixth or seventh support ticket this week to which I've not had a response or any feedback. I am somewhat relieved I'm not stuck with this ISP for 24+ months - considering this is the level of support they provide.

After coming from telkom, rain is nothing my bro. lol. After dealing with telkom debits for a service i did not have and dragging them to court and having telkom settle out of court, i can say rain is awesome bro. That being said try twitter and facebook they usually respond much faster and also the live chat has always worked for me whenever i wanted to cancel a sim.
by the way the debits i was getting from telkom were not just 80 rand that u can ignore. i was being debited 799 every month for 8 months lol for a service i did not even have. So you can imagine how i went insane on them and took them to court. lol Won actually and they opted for an out of court settlement before we had actually gone further. NOw rain sucks in terms of customer support but they are not too bad. try twitter and facebook and the live support on their website.

Burn their tower down/tyres at their tower, or contact your union.

Still no response from Rain on any of my tickets... profile still shows active in the portal.

I have the same problem.
An open ticket from the first week of November and no resolution or even a response.
When I followed up on chat support each time, they said its open and will be looked into but cannot give an ETA.
Previously this turnaround time was 24-48 hours.
