There’s a lot of factors that are important when buying an inverter
- Did you do research about the product?
- Was your decision influenced by an expert or a recommendation by a friend?
- Are you satisfied with your purchase?
- Would you have chosen differently?

Noise issues.. my wife does not like the noise.
However with Stage 4 batteries don't get enough time to charge.
We're getting the generator...

I wasn't driven to get standby power. I had no choice, I had to earn an income.
Check your choice of words next time, its kind of irritating

My wife sent me the invoice for the order she had just placed  Admittedly, she had spoken to her father, uncle, cousin and a few others who are all electrical engineers involved in medium to heavy current electrical engineering. I would have gone for a larger inverter, 5kVa at least versus the 3kVa she bought, and I would have tried to stretch the budget for LFP batteries instead of the LA's she bought.

Do you know of a quiet pure sine wave inverter? If so, please recommend! I am also facing the angry spouse who wants quiet.
I think it might be Goodwe and Victron that have some fanless design options.

Performance - hybrid grid-tied, true sinewave, 12 kVA sustained required, support for two AC sources and gennie autostart.
Proven ruggedness and reliability in African conditions.
Local support and availability of spares.
SABS approval for SSEG islanding requirements.
Professionalism and reputation of designers, manufacturers, installers.
Price was last/minor consideration.
